Machine Vision Engineer

As demand for high-precision automated inspection continues to grow across the electronics manufacturing sector, JOT is expanding its machine vision capabilities and looking for engineers with hands-on experience in machine vision and industrial automation.

This role is a great fit for someone who has worked with vision-based inspection systems in production environments and wants to deepen their expertise in automated manufacturing solutions.

​

What We're Looking For:

You don't need to tick every box, but hands-on machine vision experience is required.

Experience in some of the following areas is highly valued:

• Machine vision system setup and calibration
• NI Vision Builder and/or LabVIEW Vision
• Defect detection and surface inspection of PCBs and mechanical components
• Dimensional measurement and tolerance verification
• OCR, barcode and 2D code reading
• Camera selection, lighting design and industrial optics
• Integration of vision systems into automated test and assembly lines
• Good communication skills in English (Finnish is seen as an advantage)

What You'll Be Working With:

You'll work with National Instruments hardware and software in real electronics manufacturing environments, helping develop and improve automated inspection solutions used in high-volume production.
