Lead Solutions Architect

We are looking for a Lead Solution Architect on behalf of Bluefors to design and build a consolidated data layer on Microsoft Azure. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You will be the key person who builds it, working across source integration, automated preprocessing, a consolidated read-only store, and governed access.

About the role

You will own the end-to-end architecture of a consolidated data layer on the Microsoft/Azure stack (incl. Microsoft Fabric/OneLake) that unifies data from core business systems and makes it safely available to AI tools and internal applications. This role spans source integration, automated preprocessing, the consolidated read-only store, and governed access; you will be designing reusable connector patterns, a unified permission model, and a single policy-enforcement gateway that every consuming app/AI assistant uses via Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on.

We are looking for

• Proven track record architecting data integration/consolidation platforms on Azure (Fabric/OneLake, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage)
• Strong enterprise integration experience with REST/OData APIs (OAuth2, incremental/delta extraction, rate limiting), change-data-capture, and file/event-based ingestion
• Deep Microsoft Entra ID expertise (SSO, OIDC/SAML, app registrations, SCIM) and the ability to own per-user identity-propagated authorization end-to-end
• Data governance and security experience, cataloging/lineage (e.g. Purview), customer-managed encryption (Key Vault), API gateway design, and compliance controls for export control, GDPR, and data residency
• Demonstrable PoC-to-production delivery using IaC, monitoring, and CI/CD
• Proven ability to lead and technically direct mixed internal and partner delivery teams, with strong stakeholder communication across engineering, compliance, and executive audiences

Some nice-to-haves

• Azure AI Search (or equivalent), including document-level security-trimmed search and RAG design
• Experience with agentic AI patterns (e.g. Microsoft Foundry Agent Service) and integrating AI assistants via MCP or APIs (Claude Enterprise experience a plus)
• Background with iPaaS-integrated landscapes across ERP/MES, PLM, CRM, finance, document/collaboration, and service management platforms

Practical details

• Location: hybrid, on-site in Helsinki as required
• Initially 6-month contract, and conversion to a permanent role dependant on successful delivery
• Sensitive/export-controlled data. Candidates must be willing to meet security, background-check, and data-handling requirements
