As a result of frustration over the untapped potential of international talent in Finland, Integrify was founded in 2016 during the refugee crisis.
A pilot project was launched to train asylum seekers in programming as a fast track to jobs that are based on meritocracy, not language skills. Each graduate from the pilot landed a job as a software developer in Finland.
After a successful pilot, we opened our applications to everyone who wanted to become a professional software developer. The concept also convinced the judges at The Next Century Builders (Vuosisadan Rakentajat) and Integrify was awarded 150k € enabling us to move to a bigger space and take more international talent to our training programs.
In 2019 we introduced two new training programs; Full Stack and Machine Learning & Data Science Academies. The Integrify team grew from five to 15 people and almost 100 people started their journey to become professional technical experts.
In 2020, over 200 people have started in Integrify’s programs. The team grew from 5 people to over 20 in just two years. We kicked off our consulting unit to enable the employment of even more skilled international talent.
We continued to provide world-class education for international talent and world-class talent to companies.
In 2022, Integrify has expanded into four new countries in Europe; Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. This year over 700 aspiring developers and data scientists will join Integrify Academy with a goal to reinvent their careers with the help of Integrify's team of 30+ professionals.
