Step2Fit builds the tech team for its next stage of growth with Integrify

As Step2Fit expands into new markets, building the right team behind the product becomes increasingly important.

Founded in Finland, Step2Fit has grown into an all-in-one coaching platform for coaches, fitness centres and their clients, with operations extending across several European markets. As the company entered its next phase of growth, the team identified a need to strengthen its internal technical capabilities and bring product development expertise closer to the business.

The challenge: finding someone who could grow with the company

Step2Fit was not looking to simply fill another developer position.

The company wanted an experienced technology professional who could take significant ownership of product development and, over time, potentially grow into a broader technology leadership role such as CTO or CDO.

For a growing company, that made the recruitment decision especially important. Technical skills mattered, but so did independence, ownership, communication and the ability to develop alongside the business.

But another candidate also caught their attention.

While earlier in their career, the second professional showed enough potential that Step2Fit decided not to choose between experience and potential. They brought both into the team.

The result was two new additions with different levels of experience, but with the potential to play important roles in Step2Fit’s future.

For the company, the hires represent more than additional development capacity. They are part of building stronger technology capabilities internally as Step2Fit continues developing its product and expanding internationally.
